About

Joseph P. Maloney, partner, originally founded his practice May 1, 1970 after he had gained several years’ experience with a local CPA firm. John C. Wright joined the firm as a partner after gaining several years’ experience with a national firm and a local CPA firm. He was a partner for a short time with the local CPA firm. Harry A. Robbins, joined the firm after four (4) years of experience with a local CPA firm. The firm of Maloney, Wright & Robbins, CPAs, dba MWR CPAs, LLC, was established August 1, 1973.

On June 30, 2001, Joseph P. Maloney and John C. Wright retired. On July 1, 2001 Linus M. Barnfield became a partner with 20 years of service with the firm. On June 30, 2011, Arthur H. Robbins, Jr. became a partner with thirteen (13) years of service with Maloney, Wright & Robbins, and became managing partner January 1, 2017. William McDowell became a partner in January 2017 with twelve (12) years of experience with Maloney, Wright & Robbins. In January 2024, Lori Crump became a partner with seventeen (17) years of experience with the firm.

Presently the firm employs five (5) partners, eight (8) professional staff, one (1) paraprofessional staff, and three (3) support staff, giving the firm a total of seventeen (17) staff.
